School is starting soon and we all know what that means; my Back to School series! Last year I came up with a lot of articles to help you claim success during your school year, and this year I am going to be sharing even more tips and tricks with you! To kick off the series I am going to be sharing  organization tips with you from lockers to purses, this is your ultimate guide on how to stay organized in school.

How to Stay Organized for School

Class Organization

-Use a notebook, folder, and binder for every class. Using separate school supplies for each subject will make it so easy for you. You can even color coordinate your subjects to make it easier to find things in your backpack and locker.

-Take advantage of your agenda. Most kids will say it is lame to use your agenda, however, whether you receive one from your school or your parents buy you one, use it and treat it like it is a human being. Agendas will be your life this school year. Plan ahead your projects, plans, and dates. Using your agenda will keep you ahead in school, and will also come in handy for remembering when Clinique’s next free gift starts!

-Take notes. Usually when a teacher says that something is going to be on a test, it will more than likely be on the test. Make sure to take notes during a lecture from your teacher. It may seem boring but you can make it fun by using fun colored pens and highlighters to take and highlight the notes with.

Locker Organization

-Purchase a locker shelf. Locker shelves will be your best friends. Hang one from the top of your locker for your lunch and backpack, use the middle section for your notebooks and folders and binders, and use the bottom section for your textbooks.

-Organize the order of your binders. Whether you want to organize your binders by the order of classes you have them or by color, organizing them will help you so much in the long run.

When dancing at a party on a hot summer night, the last thing you want is melted foundation running down your face and mascara pouring down your eyes. I have put together a great summer night out makeup tutorial that will not only prevent run off, but includes an excellent smokey eye shadow look!

Summer Night Out Makeup Tutorial

Step 1: First things first, you want to apply a moisturizer and a primer before you start your face makeup. First apply a BB cream. I’m going to be mixing a Clinique BB cream and a Maybelline BB cream. I’m using a Stippling Brush to even out my complexion.

Step 2: Next, you need to conceal any imperfections. Conceal your dark under-eye circles and any acne scarring. I’m using my Maybelline Fit Me concealer and my Maybelline Under Age Concealer.

Step 3: Set all of your face makeup with a powder to give you a matte finish and to prevent any oily look. I;m using my Neutrogena powder.

Step 4: To start off the eyes, first prime them. I’m going to be using my Urban Decay Primer Potion.

Step 5: I’m taking “Limit” from my Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette and using a flat shader brush to apply it to my eye lid.

Step 6: Now, I’m taking “Nooner” from the same palette and applying it to my crease with a fluffy blending brush.

Step 7: Next, fill in your eye brows. I’m using a brow gel/powder by e.l.f. and I’m filling in sparse areas.

Step 8: Now, I’m going to curl my eyelashes and apply Benefit’s “They’re Real” mascara.

Step 9: Next apply a black eye liner on your tightline and a brown eye liner on your water line.

Step 10: Now, finish off your eye look with liquid eye liner. I’m using liquid liner from e.l.f. and winging it out.

Step 15: Lastly, finish off your look with a highlighter, a blush, and a lip gloss.

January 30, 2014
