My favorite time of the entire year is here. A lot of people are dreading going into this school year, but I am SO excited to show you all the back to school things that I got. I am kicking off the 2015 Back to School posts here at Miss Makeup Tips with a back to school haul. I will be posting an organization tips post tomorrow and will list all my other previous Back to School series posts if you are interested in reading those! Keep reading for the 2015 back to school haul!
So I really just picked up some basic purse, locker, and class must-haves that I know I am going to need for this year.
That’s everything I got today. Of course I will need to get some more binders when school starts and I get my class schedule. I’m going to make a list below of everything I got and my thoughts on it.
-Teal Binder and Binder Dividers
This binder is for my Spanish class I have to take, and I got dividers so I can keep all my papers organized and divided into sections.
-Note Cards and Note Card Holder
My favorite study technique is using note cards. I use them for everything, especially vocabulary. I picked up a colored pack, a ruled pack, and an unruled pack.
-Pencils, Erasers, and Pencil Cases
I got the mint green pencil case for the pens that I keep in my purse. I really love it and I think it’s so pretty. I got plain old yellow pencils and I need to go back to get my mechanical pencils soon. I got erasers, because I make a lot of mistakes (mostly in math).
I got a few folders because I like to have them to keep handouts and important papers in. I also keep a homework folder that I keep with me all day long that I just take home with me so I’m not carrying all my binders home.
-Spiral Notebooks and Loose-Leaf College Ruled Paper
I cannot write on wide ruled paper at all. I have used college-ruled since I was in 6th grade, but everyone else in my family uses wide ruled, which means I can’t just share paper with them when I run out. I also got a wide variety of spiral bound notebooks. Some of my classes do not require a binder, but a notebook and a folder will keep me more organized in those classes.
I do not know why I have an obsession with the Papermate pens, but they are my all-time favorite pens. I picked up several packs in red, blue, and black. I’m going to go back and get a set of colorful pens for taking notes.
I got washi tape to decorate my Erin Condren planner with. It looked like they had a lot of patterned tapes this year.
I picked up my basic everyday products that I I have to have when I start back in school. I got my Maybelline Fit Me concealer, my Maybelline under-eye concealer, the Revlon Colorstay liquid eyeliner marker, my Rimmel eyebrow pencil, and my Neutrogena makeup wipes. I also picked up a mini Batiste dry shampoo, because I have really oily hair and thought this would be good to keep in my purse to touch up during the day. I did not put it in this post, but while I was in NYC, I got a mirror/hair comb from H&M that has “coachella” written on it, so that will be in my purse as well. I also got my Clean and Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets that I cannot go a day without!
There are of course other things I have got in preparation for school to start. I’m ordering an new lunch bag and a new backpack. I hope you guys liked my back to school haul. Let me know if any of you want to see a what’s in my purse/book bag post. I would love to those, and would also love to do a healthy lunch ideas post.
