DIY Autumn Decorations: Mason Jars

Autumn is fast approaching, and soon the Pumpkin Spice Lattes will return to Starbucks and the leaves will fall of the trees. Autumn doesn’t have to be beautiful just in your backyard. There are plenty of ways to decorate your room for Autumn and this will post will be my first Autumn Room Decoration DIY series. Keep reading to find out how to transform Mason jars into beautiful decorations that will transition your room into a cozy fall atmosphere instead of a bright and summery room, and create a beautiful DIY Autumn decoration! DIY Autumn Decorations: Mason Jars

Things you will need:

-Mason Jars

-Fake Leaves

-Flameless Candles

-Your favorite candy

-Hot glue gun

-Scissors

Step 1: Take the 3-4 fake leaves and pull the plastic stems off of them.

Step 2: Using a hot glue gun, glue down the cloth leaves to the sides of the Mason jar and press down firmly. Make sure to get the tips of the edges of the leaves glued down as well. Be careful not to burn yourself, and kids should have help from an adult.

*After decorating your jars, they should like like the picture below.

Step 3: Now fill your jar with candies, makeup brushes, lip gloss, or anything that you want to. I filled mine with my favorite candy (Kit Kats).

Step 5: You can even place a flame less, battery powered candle in it to create a candle that requires no fire.
